Week Fifty-two and a half: Exciting News!

Elder Zurita is from Provo Utah and is super awesome!
He was trained in the same ward as me and has had two areas just like me!
its kind of crazy how similar we are... except
for the fact that hes bolivian and im white.... but we can look past that :)
So last week i was excited to announce that in the upcoming transfer i was going to receive a replacement... then we spoke to president......and were discussing exactly how he wanted to do the transition and everything and in that very moment he decided to change everything again! The first plan was to wait until the next change to change everything and in that change, Elder Garcia and i would get our replacements and brother and sister guillen would finish their missions (they are on an extension right now. they were supposed to be released a whole transfer ago). Now, Brother and Sister Guillen are going to stay ANOTHER transfer to train new missionaries for their spots as materials secretary and visas/references secretary, my companion will be leaving the offices next week with transfers and i am currently training Elder Zurita to be my replacement!!!

Oh yeah and thats the temple in the background... WE WENT TO THE TEMPLE TODAY!!!!! With all the rule changes, President Egginton is allowing us to go to the temple on our P-Days and it just so happens that the secretaries and the assistants are the only missionaries who have their pday when the temple is open. Yay! The blessings of working in the offices are great!!!

Me at the Temple
This week it rained ice balls! i know youre all thinking hail, but im talking about literal ice balls the size of grapes.
This is a giant ice ball that fell from the sky!

me with the giant ice ball!

Elder Zurita taking on the financial secretary spot
Una Torta Ahogada. this is a famous food from Guadalajara. directly translated it means drown sandwich. thats pretty much what it is! its a hard bread filled with pork meat with refried beans. its really really good!

CHALLENGE: Discover the blessings of the temple! it astounded me to see how little people were at the temple today and i was honestly really sad. A lot of times we dont realize how blessed we are to have a temple nearby where we live. In the temple we can feel the spirit really strong and receive peace that cant be found in any other place. So, the invitation for all of you is to attend the temple if you have a temple recommend, if you dont have a temple recommend and are a member of the church, get one and attend the temple, and if you are not a member of the church, get in contact with the missionaries and ask them about the blessings of the temple!

Life in the mission is great! im so happy to be here! thank you for all your love and support! I love you all!!!
Con cariƱo, Elder Wagner
